Open Studios weekend: 3 local artists

Wap movie coming very soon but this blog entry is about the wonderful, wonderful Open Studios that were this weekend and will be again on 19th and 20th May. Well I managed to get around a few between various other bits and pieces including catching up on the allotment....see http://www.sva.org.uk/ for full programme...

The three I feature here are all very local indeed....first up Anna Bloomfield in Farmhill - some great watercolours including several of Ruscombe....Anna kindly let me photograph the two pics here of Ruscombe.

Second was Hazel King in Parkend, Pagenhill...acrylic..great one of a seal in water and some fun reflections on glass (see pic) - Hazel also does pet portraits if folk are interested (see pic).

Lastly Jackie Garner on Humphries End - she has had a mention on this blog several times - see here - anyhow she does wildlife acrylics and watercolours...great feathers and a fantastic elephant - see pic below and one of a Dragonfly - the elephant is work still in progress but I liked that lots.
