Medieval Fayre success

The Medieval Fayre, organised again by Cllr. Royall and her merry band of helpers took place on Sunday at Victory Park. This year pupils from St Matthew's School, dressed up in medieval costume, took part in a procession from the school to the park where they were received by the Lord of the Manor (Parish Council Chairman, Graham Barton). There were also a load of colourful stalls selling pies, bread, oils and candles and local organisations doing some fundraising. Captain Spanner was on hand to entertain the children with a series of games including a welly wang and unicycle balloon jousting. More pics here and here. See last years here. Huge congrats to Helen and all.
