Yes I know I've dried up - no blogs as I've been crazily busy...in terms of Council stuff this week I was at Forest Green Rovers conference centre on Monday 10am to 3pm to discuss the Sheltered Accommodation review - I sit on the Project Board that has been meeting to find ways forward with the imminent loss of the County's annual £0.5m. Hopefully by early next year proposals will be clear - at the moment there seems to be strong agreement between tenants, officers and the cross-party councillor group as to the way forward....I'm hoping where we have got to so far with the Project Board will be announced very shortly - in the past there was too much secrecy and lack of transparency - but these are very sensitive issues that affect people's lives, so much care is needed...

This week Green councillors have also met to plan the next month's work and yesterday evening was the Ruscombe Brook Action Group AGM - hopefully more on that soon.......while this evening has been dealing with dozens of emails from planning queries/problems, Highways issues, questions re Oldbury, Transition Stroud's plans for Winterfest on Sat 8th December in Stroud, Javelin Park and so much more....I've recently stopped many email newsletters and subscriptions and have now cut the number of emails per day to around 70-80 - still too many but having said that please don't stop with the feedback, comments, thoughts, ideas and more!!!

Anyway at least Obama in rather than Romney - sigh of some relief.....
