Inspiring film about changing the world: 'Yes Men Fix the World'

THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD is described as 'a screwball true story about two gonzo political activists who, posing as top executives of giant corporations, lie their way into big business conferences and pull off the world's most outrageous pranks'. It actually came out quite a while ago but it was only last night that I got to watch it - it covers issues that this blog has covered before like Bhopal and Katrina. It was refreshing to see after a policy training evening for councillors at the District Council this week which looked at our investments - the Council's advisors were clearly not recommending ethical investments when I raised the issue - it is no wonder our attempts with motions etc have not got far - change the advisors was one comment from a fellow councillor - anyhow this film has only reinforced my belief that we must invest ethically.
