If you click the link here you will see Whiteshill resident Greg Dance has uploaded a short film clip of his latest visitor, a Horseshoe Bat.
Here is what he says: "He has been occasionally visiting us recently and sleeps in our hallway outside our front door. I borrowed a Bat Detector which you will see in the film which records his echo locating at 105kHz and lowers it to a frequency audible to the human ear, normally we cannot hear him. He introduced himself to us by flying into our home and out through a lounge window! He pops back occasionally and usually suspends himself by one leg, moves his head around and as he does this his body does the twist, maybe I should set the film to twist music! What a performer!"
