Julius Caesar and power politics

I've just been fortunate to have been to a course looking at Julius Caesar and the use of power in politics. Lawrence Olivier's son Richard set up a company that mostly works with the big guys - large corporations etc. However he and the actors he works with kindly donated a 2 day course to the Green party.

At the wonderful Gaunt's House mansion with outdoor swimming pool 30 of us including Green MEPs, London Assembly members and councillors from around the country spent time exploring power and how it can be used wisely. To often we see leaders like Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher abuse their power - using Julius Caesar, which must surely be one of the most important political writings, we looked at every aspect - fascinating indeed and hugely useful. I would love to write more but must dash as the outdoor play in Randwick starts soon! If anyone is interested in hearing more please contact me.
