Music, Dance and Song At More Hall this Saturday

Plus Strawberry Cream Teas
Yes on Saturday, 14th July, More Hall will once again throw open it’s gates to welcome people to their annual Garden Party. If you haven't been then do go along - it is always worth a visit
This is a chance to meet the staff and residents and share entertainment and stalls in the peaceful grounds of the historic building that houses More Hall Residential Care Home. This year they are pleased to have two dance groups and two diverse musical  performances; local Morris dancers Ragged and Old and a new group this year, Castiard, eight people from the Forest of Dean who have danced in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod and are currently preparing for a French tour this summer.
The music will be provided by Bees Knees, a local ceilidh band and Uke Stroud, the local Ukulele orchestra. While you enjoy listening to the music afternoon teas will be served. This year there is even more for young children to do – the usual tableau trail of dressed characters features Fairytales and Pantomime and, for the first time, they will have garden games on the lower lawn. No charge will be made for these activities. Other regular features will include skittles, tombola, a plant stall, home made cakes and handicrafts.
The party starts at 2 pm and entrance is free. More Hall is a Residential Care Home run by nuns of the Grace and Compassion Benedictine Order and is just off Cashes Green Road at the turning to Humphries End.
