Stroud's Molly Scott Cato is organising a conference exchange between UK and Latin America to try to learn from their experiences - the challenge of reconciling a right to human development with the need to avoid dangerous climate change and the unsustainable depletion of resources.The conference is in Liverpool - see more here - but one of the key organisers of alternative currencies in Latin America, Heloisa Primavera (left), is coming to Stroud after the conference and could be around to meet local people on the Friday morning, 16th March.
