Museum in the Park nominated for Museum of the Year award 2013

Last week I nominated the Museum in the Park, Stroud, for the Museum of the Year award 2013. For those reading this who don't know we have a beautiful, small museum set in the most wonderful park - it is a welcoming and friendly place to go with activities for all. It continually surprises and inspires with exhibitions and events plus it has great well displayed fascinating collections of Stroud's heritage. It is a true community treasure well used by local people - I do not hesitate in recommending it for this national award!
