Wind farms will save households hundreds of pounds

That headline was from The Telegraph before Christmas! Some claimed it was a 'miraculou' headline from the Telegraph who in some people's eyes only knock wind energy! I meant to blog then but will give this issue a plug now....basically the Committee on Climate Change announced that household energy bills will be about £600 higher per year in the coming decades if the UK relies increasingly on gas. However, they would only be £100 higher than today's average dual fuel bill of about £1,300, if the country concentrated on renewable power generation, such as wind power.
