Can you help with the Ruscombe phone box exhibition?

Ruscombe Telephone Box is to become a community Gallery and Art Space. The First exhibition at the Ruscombe Telephone Box - becoming a Community Gallery, is to be a local celebration of the Coronation of the Queen, Silver Jubilee and now the Diamond Jubilee..

What we need: Any local photos, pictures, diary extracts, memories about the Coronation Day or Silver Jubilee. If you would like to submit an item for the exhibition then please contact Chris Gardner: phscg@tiscali.co.uk or 01453 766532. The cut off date is the 28th May 2012. The exhibition is to be opened on the 5th June at 3pm.

Volunteers needed

The Ruscombe Telephone Box is to be given a second lease of life and will be reopened as a flexible gallery space on 5th June 2012. The first stage of its makeover requires a working party to bring the box back up to scratch. Two Saturdays in April (weather permitting) will allow us to strip back the box and then repaint it. Dates are: Saturday 21st April: Strip the box back. Saturday 28th April: Repaint the box. Each day will start at 10.30.
