Dark Mountain update

Last year I asked if it was time to go up the Dark Mountain - see here - my views haven't changed from that but the urgency for action has not diminished and we've seen this Government fail us on key issues.
Anyway below are two links to articles about the recent Dark Mountain festival. I liked the quote in the second article: “Transition relies on consensus. Dark Mountain is something you can visit, Transition is something you live”
and
Patrick Andrews quote “If Transition is the village, Dark Mountain is the shaman.”

Coming Round The Dark Mountain Part 1: Uncivilisation. Last month Charlotte du cann went to Uncivilisation, a festival organised by the Dark Mountain project. Below is a writer’s cut of article she wrote for The Independent newspaper.

Coming Round The Dark Mountain Part 2: the Shaman and the Village. Here Charlotte explores the idea that Dark Mountain is something you can visit, Transition is something you live.
