Official Parish Council results!!!

There was a very serious blunder by the District Council in publishing the Whiteshill and Ruscombe Parish Council election results - see here. I can confirm now after a phone call from David Hagg, Chief Executive of the District Council, that the original results (copied below) were correct. An investigation is on-going as to how the results on the web were altered last week and showed different numbers of votes for councillors and one councillor was no longer elected while another who hadn't got sufficient votes found herself elected!!!!

David Hagg may well be attending the Parish Council meeting on this Thursday to explain further but letters will also be going to all who took part in the election. I hope to have further information soon on this issue.
