New law for livestock needs support

A Private Members' Ballot on Thursday 10 June saw hundreds of back bench MPs throw their names into a hat. Twenty MPs were selected and now have a chance to drive a law of their choice through Parliament. Friends of the Earth is calling on these MPs to choose a Sustainable Livestock Bill that supports planet-friendly farming. The Bill would commit the Government to reduce the damaging environmental and social impacts of meat and dairy farming. Go here to add your name to a letter sent by Friends of the Earth.
