Last week I commented on the Government's Soil Strategy and I mentioned the film we saw recently at Randwick Village Hall at the Ruscombe Brook Action Group's AGM about the wonders in Australia. Well now it is available to watch...
Farmers in Australia have long battled with poor soils and inhospitable farming conditions. This film from the Lifeworks Foundation looks at how some are using new biological farming practices to dramatically improve the health of their soils and the quality of the food they grow. Well the DVD is now available from Amazon - see here. You can see a trailer here.
Lifeworks Foundation and Water21 are now working to develop demonstration sites in Gloucestershire and throughout the UK.
