Photo pinched from Hunter Hubbard's website
The Bond film 'Casino Royale' popularised free running - but it is not something you just do - the moves require planning and much practice and knowing your limits - the freedom of it appeals lots to me - almost flying - but I'm a little creaky and unfit for even trying it! Plus of course there is an issue here about trespassing and possibly damaging property....although from all I've heard this is not a big issue as most free runners take much care to respect the properties they use....what do others think?

Go for it Hunter!
I am the nervous mother of a 14 yr old. My son seems very keen on parkour but I am very worried about the possible risks of injury to himself and also concerned about him trespassing and breking the law. I am very pleased to see that this activity is being taken seriously. I hope support groups and safe areas are organised soon so that our children can develop their skills in Free-running in a safe environment and under the guidance of more experienced traceurs.
Thanks for comment - I am still working on Stroud District Council to work with Leisure centre - they are meant to have had a meeting last month - must chase up and see what was discussed - all the best.
