Blog Action Day for Environment
Today is Blog Action Day for the environment - we have just seen one in solidarity of Burma - it is great issues like this can get wider coverage and make people think but of course we need this topic on the environment and climate change to be discussed and acted on everyday - it needs to become part of our consciousness. See more re day here and more here soon.

Thank you for promoting Blog Action Day. I have to admit that my mind is more absorbed with the plight of people in Burma.
I did not participate in Blog Action Day.
However, I wrote a belated post of my own about an environmental issue that might strike a cord with some of your readers.
BRAZILIAN TEAK FLOORS, SLAVE LABOR, AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE RAIN FOREST.
You can find it at:

Anything that you can do to help promote awareness of this issue will be greatly appreciated. Normally, I don't ask for this kind of help, but the issue is that important to me.
Thank you!
